Educating the next generation of students, scholars, and professionals to deal with real world issues. A series of interdisciplinary seminars, crash courses, and a hackathon on AI’s societal impact.

The project

This project explores the transformative application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in physics education to elevate the teaching quality across the Degree Programs at the Department of Physics and Astronomy (DFA). By establishing a collaborative Faculty Learning Community (FLC), the initiative aims to foster an informed and critical awareness of AI among both educators and students.

Through the development of innovative, AI-driven active learning strategies, the project spans the entirety of the physics curriculum-bridging the gap between conceptual theory, computational modeling, and hands-on experimental laboratories. Ultimately, it seeks to create a shared platform for disseminating best practices, cutting-edge methodologies, and advanced educational tools.
